Ok so now I might understand my knitting stress - I have at last hurried count 10 unfinished objects including 2 cardigans, 3 pair of socks and a glove amongst other things - I have seriously got to finish a few of these things - what I need to figure out is what I spend time on first. The Birch stole which is for a friends birthday just past, the socks which are quick to do and will reduce the number of UFOs quickly or do all the finishing fiddly bits like I cord, zips and sewing on the two cardigans (one has sat unsewn for a year I am ashamed to say - I HATE SEWING). What are you thoughts?
On another matter go to Sockmonster Sales (click the button on the left sidebar) to see what is available at the moment and I am ordering with Germany some sock yarn later in the month. Orders should be to me by 10th September for Sock yarn and by the 7th September if you want to try any Addi needles - I am hoping to have the gummy bear needles holders soon too.
Finally life has been challenging lately as I seek to balance work, family and leisure - I think its most people's conundrum. Work is very busy and we have our first employee. I'm about to get out and do some property valuations in our business and this poses a real barrier for me. Its not something I find very comfortable at this time of my life when I appreciate feeling accomplished and comfortable with many things around me. Any way that explains in part why I have been quiet.
Happy knitting
Lisa
