Life just seems to get in the way of this computer - A lot of cleaning/work/etc has been going on around here. With a Car Boot Sale - a hard rubbish throwout (where the council comes and picks up big rubbish) - and a school fundraiser where bags of old clothing/bric a brac and manchester are given to the Salvation Army for $5 a bag. So we have been sorting /throwing/debating and making executive decisions on what stays and what goes.
On the knit front life continues
Here is the little Zebra pinafore and socks - I'll try and get a pic of her in them in the mext couple of days. They are for my niece Poppy's 1st birthday. My SIL Tracey had got her way half way up the back of the Kool Aid mohair jumper in SnB and I managed to finish it off
I also am continuing on the poncho and the Shedir cap and some of the Lollipop sock yarn.
My latest project is the Six Sock KAL and socks for the sister of the Zebra outfit. Maisise is four tomorrow and her socks say " Maisie is 4" I'm round the heel of the first sock and hopefully will finish in the next week.
Got a new camera too!!!!!
Enough for now!
Lisa
Those socks are sweet. I have been toying with the idea of knitting with colours for a little while, starting sock sized might be a good idea.

What yarn is that on the six-socks sock? I love the colors!! And I just adore the zebra pinafore and socks, but my little girl is a very grown-up 11, and no way could I get her to wear that.

Hey Judy, It is Regia Stretch Crazy - I've just ordered another 5 balls. If you look back over the posts I did some sockettes for Em (a very grown up 12 yr old at camp this week). the purple and Green on the name area is Opal Uni Purple and the Green is a Grignasco Bambini that T gave me. I know what you mean about lovely things they will no longer wear! Thats what I like about haveing little nieces!
Ceels - kids/baby socks are fun coz they go real quick - just got to make sure your floats aren't too long as they get toes caught in them!
